The Calabasas Bags For Benchs project is an ambitious community-driven initiative that aims to transform plastic waste into something meaningful through the NexTrex Recycling Challenge. Our goal is to engage the entire Calabasas community to help create benches for public spaces. In our commitment to sustainability, we are participating in the NexTrex Community Recycling Program. You can learn more about the program and how it works by visiting https://nextrex.com/view/recyclingchallenge. Our goal is to collect 1,000 pounds of recyclable materials, which will earn us a bench made from recycled materials. This bench will be placed at Calabasas High School once we meet our target.
